Dustin Lynch became the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry last Tuesday night (9/18) during a special induction ceremony.

Dustin was surprised onstage by his longtime crush Reba, who did the honors of formally inducting him into the Opry family.

The importance of the moment was not lost on Reba, who told Lynch, “We’re paving the way like Minnie, Roy, Porter, and all the greats before us paved the way for us. Congratulations and welcome to one of the best families in the world.”

Then, after Reba returned to the stage to hand Dustin a box of tissues during his speech, he said, “I told everybody before I came out here I’m a crybaby, and I get it from my dad.”
