2005 Fun in the Sun Soap Tour

ABC Daytime will add a one-night concert at a local venue to the 2005 Fun in the Sun tour in Dallas, it was announced today by Brian Frons, president, ABC Daytime. The concert will feature the musical talents of All My Childrens Jacob Young (JR Chandler) and Bobby Steggert (Sam Grey), One Life to Lives Renee Goldsberry (Evangeline Williamson), Kathy Brier (Marcie Walsh) and Kassie DePaiva (Blair Manning), and General Hospitals Scott Clifton (Dillon Quartermaine).
The number of fans coming out to Fun in the Sun continues to grow with every tour stop, said Mr. Frons. We decided adding a concert with some of our very talented performers would really enhance the fan experience in the Dallas area.
The concert will be held at the Longhorn Saloon in Fort Worth, Texas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30. The previously announced Fun in the Sun tour at the Texas State Fair in Dallas will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m. Featured talent to appear include those performing at the concert and Jeff Branson and Leven Rambin (Jonathan Lavery and Lily Montgomery on All My Children).
ABCs Fun in the Sun tour for 2005 has included events in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston. In addition to Dallas, there will be one more event to be held in Miamis Eden Roc Hotel on November 19. Fun in the Sun includes fan interaction with the ABC Daytime stars from All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital. ABC Daytime tapes portions of the events to be broadcast interstitially throughout the year.
Tickets for the concert at the Longhorn Saloon can be purchased in advance for $55.00 on abc.com, or at the Longhorn Saloon for $75.00, pending availability. Information regarding ticket prices for the Texas State Fair can also be found at abc.com.
